YouTube stars Alissa Violet and Jake Paul have faced dating rumors for a long time because of their online collaborations, but the two never confirmed or denied the rumors. That is, until now. The couple got into public spat Tuesday and Wednesday on social media and accused each other of cheating.

It all started earlier this week when Violet claimed in a Snapchat video that Paul had removed her items from the house she had been sharing with him and other social media stars — Neels Visser, Alex Lange, AJ Mitchell, and twins Lucas and Marcus Dobre — since August. They all formed the creative group Team 10 last year in a bid to “take over Hollywood,” according to the group's website.

“Basically, Jake’s kicking me out. He didn’t wanna wait for me to get my apartment, which I’ getting in couple of days. So he’s thrown my stuff downstairs,” Violet said in the video.

Violet also said Paul changed the lock on the door to her room. “Apparently I don’t live in here anymore. My stuff’s like gone,” she said, adding that she would no longer collaborate with Paul to make videos.

However, on Tuesday, Paul took to Twitter and alleged Violet cheated on him with “someone that was very close to me,” according to Seventeen magazine. The tweet has since been deleted. He then posted a video blog in which he called the entire situation with Violet “petty stuff” and accused her of spreading “vicious” lies about him. He also clarified that the house was not hers and she was “technically” not staying there. According to Paul, she “hurt” his feelings.

"I took her from 2,000 followers and working at Panara Bread to 5 million followers on social media and making $300,000 a year," Paul said.

Violet responded to the allegations by saying she and Paul were never together. Paul then tweeted that she was “super talented.”
