Joseline Hernandez, Stevie J and the rest of the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” cast are back for Season 5. VH1 has been releasing sneak peeks of the new season, premiering April 4, which teases that fans are in for the usual drama and backstabbing. As previously reported, one teaser video also hinted that a lucky cast member could be getting engaged soon.

Since the Season 4 finale aired in August, here’s a refresher of everything that happened to help you prepare for Monday’s Season 5 premiere.

The finale focused on Momma Dee getting remarried to ex-husband Ernest, but unfortunately her big day didn’t go exactly as planned. Momma Dee’s children, Scrappy and Jasmine, weren’t thrilled about the wedding and said they wouldn’t be attending. Momma Dee was devastated, but shortly before she was supposed to walk down the aisle Scrappy and Jasmine showed up.

Kirk Frost also tried to right his wrongs with wife Rasheeda by buying her a storefront for her boutique, Pressed. During the finale, Rasheeda held her grand opening and invited several of her castmates including Karlie Redd. Karlie and Rasheeda had a few issues throughout the season, but Karlie tried to make amends by showing up to the grand opening with gifts.

While Karlie and Rasheeda were able to squash their beef, the model’s friendship with Joseline completely blew up on the finale. After leaving Rasheeda’s store opening, Karlie stopped by Joseline’s performance to show her support. Joseline was happy to see her friend until Karlie mentioned Joseline’s husband Stevie J had asked his ex, Mimi Faust, to move to Los Angeles with him. Joeseline got angry and accused Karlie of always bringing gossip around her. The Puerto Rican Princess kicked Karlie out of her dressing room and security had to step in to keep them from fighting.

During the episode, Stevie did go to Los Angeles but didn’t take his wife with him. Instead, he left her roses and a note explaining his feelings. Also on the finale, Joc and KD worked things out and got back together since the “It’s Going Down” rapper finally divorced Sina. KD said she thought Joc divorcing Sina would help strengthen their relationship.

Last week, VH1 released the first 5 minutes of the Season 5 premiere. It reveals Joc and KD broke up again, and he’s living in a bachelor pad with his cousin Scrappy, who split from girlfriend Bambi. The video also introduces new cast members Tommie and Karen “KK” King.

“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Season 5 premieres April 4, at 8 p.m. EDT on VH1.
