After Jan Ross' accident, she was rushed to the hospital. Jim Ross, the WWE Hall of Famer had been posting updates on his Twitter page ever since.

Jan Ross was returning from the gym to home in a Vespa Monday night in Oklahoma when she was struck by a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis from behind. The impact was more as she wasn't wearing a helmet. She sustained a serious brain injury and multiple skull fractures. The Norman Police Department has told TMZ Sports that after Jan Ross was thrown away from the Vespa, both the car and her scooter caught fire. The driver of the other vehicle was a 17-year-old boy who was not injured. The accident is still under police investigation, according to TMZ.

Jan Ross was a flight attendant for 13 years, and she met Jim Ross and Ric Flair on a flight. The first wrestling show she went to with Jim was in a small town in Florida, according to Slam Wrestling.

In a blog post that Jim Ross wrote after his wife was in the hospital, he said: "She helped me battle thru multiple bouts of depression as a result of the multiple, Bells palsy attacks, my dependence on Ambian, and nursed me to back health after serious, colon surgery that threatened my life and she never complained one time,” Ross writes. “This woman loves me more than I’ll ever deserve and simply knowing her has enriched my life to levels that I can never repay."

People from the sports and wrestling federation mourned on social media after Jim Ross announced his wife's death.
