BioWare has finally released the official gameplay trailer for “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” Electronic Arts’ highly anticipated action role-playing third-person shooter video game that is slated for release in March 2017. Though this is not the first time that the gameplay is showcased to the public, this new trailer gave fans the first real look at what they can expect when the game arrives a few months from now.

At yesterday’s Game Awards, BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn had the opportunity to introduce the trailer to the audience. According to Polygon, Flynn told the crowd that “making games is very, very hard,” alluding to how complicated the process of creating the next installment of the science fiction franchise may have been.

The gameplay trailer showcases the different environments in the game. There is also branching dialogue and several shots of space action. As per The Verge, “Mass Effect: Andromeda” is set around 600 years following the events that took place in the original “Mass Effect” trilogy. It features a new galaxy and it centers on the adventure of the Pathfinder as he tries to find a new home in the Andromeda galaxy.

After the gameplay trailer was revealed, the game’s producer, Michael Gamble, took to Twitter to tease fans on what they should be looking for in the footage. According to Gamble, fans should focus while watching the new clip since it actually presents “powers, weapons, locations” and even “new friends” as well as “enemies.”

On the YouTube-uploaded copy of the gameplay footage, however, fans did more than what Gamble asked them to. Many commented on the technology and performance of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” based on the video clip.

Check out this list of what fans are saying about BioWare’s upcoming game.
