You may have noticed pictures of celebrities posing with a fake red nose. But don’t worry, it’s not the latest fashion craze. Instead, dozens of celebrities are showing their support for raising money for children living in poverty. Red Nose Day aims to raise money, change lives and have fun while doing so.

For the first Red Nose Day, Thursday, the organization has teamed up with NBC, Walgreens and M&Ms. Those who want to show support can purchase their own red nose at RedNoseDay.org. Since they’re almost sold out, there are other activities people can participate in to help bring change and awareness.

One of the ideas Red Nose Day suggests is a bake sale: “Treats are easy to make, fun to decorate and yummy to eat. Bake sales are easy as pie and raise big bucks!” A silly way to help raise money is wear as many clothing items as possible. Each time a person gives you a donation, add a piece of clothing like a hat, glove or scarf. Of course, make sure to share the photo on social media. One more way is to try to stop swearing. For some people, it’s a habit so there might be plenty of money to add to the swear jar.

Nick Cannon, Melissa McCarthy, Simon Cowell, Peter Dinklage, Gillian Anderson, Eva Mendes, Emma Watson, Jane Lynch and One Direction are just some of the celebrities who have pledged to participate. Some of their tweets and messages have been shared below. Check it out:
