The Daytona 500 is regarded as the most important race on the NASCAR calendar. So don't miss a second of the pinnacle of the Sprint Cup Series from start to finish.

The Great American Race will be held Sunday. Fans will be able to watch the event live starting at its traditional 1 p.m. start time on their local Fox networks.

For the past 54 years, the Daytona 500 has excited fans as they anxiously watch as their favorite racer drives around the huge track for 500 miles. Known was the Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing, the Daytona 500 will feature some of the biggest talents in Sprint Cup Series including Carl Edwards, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon.

Speedweeks, which marks the official start of the NASCAR season, started on Feb. 18 this year. The event features a series of intense races in the Budweiser Shootout and the Gatorade Duel to determine the qualifiers and starting positions for the Daytona 500, reported Chiff.com.

Tickets have been on sale since later summer, with almost every seat sold out. However, there are several seats available on Stub Hub with the lowest ticket price starting at $76.
