The NFL Draft is unquestionably the biggest draft in American sports.

What used to be an afternoon show on the weekend has turned into a primetime event. This year's draft starts at 8 p.m. ET Thursday night on ESPN and NFL Network.

The first three rounds of the draft used to be broadcast on Saturday, with the final four being completed on Sunday.

Now, the first round is given special attention. It's the only part of the draft that is broadcast on the first day. Rounds two and three will air on Friday, April 27, starting at 7 p.m. ET. The draft will finish up on Saturday with rounds four through seven, starting at Noon ET.

The excitement is expected to begin after the first two picks. Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III will be the first two picks of the night. The Vikings currently have the third pick, but have only expressed a desire to trade it. If Minnesota keeps the pick, they will likely select offensive tackle Matt Kalil out of USC.

The draft will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York, with 253 total picks in the draft. The Raiders, Falcons and Saints are the only teams without a first round selection.
