Whitney Houston's invitation-only funeral will begin at noon ET today at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J. Several celebrity guest are set to be in attendance, some of whom are expected to sing. Houston's family decided they didn't want to have a public funeral for the late singer and so they opted for a private service for just family and friends. Still the family has made it possible so that The Associated Press can live stream Houston's funeral service online so that fans around the world can join them in sending the singer home.

New Hope Baptist Church is Houston's childhood church. She grew up singing gospel there.

Houston's funeral guest list consists of her ex-husband, Bobby Brown with whom she shares her only child, a daughter named Bobbi Kristina Brown. Houston's The Bodyguard co-star Kevin Costner will also attend the funeral, as well as her cousin Dionne Warwick, her rumored on-again off-again boyfriend Ray J, his sister Brandy, Alicia Keys, Tyler Perry and CeCe Winans and mother Cissy.

According to reports, Houston's godmother, Aretha Franklin, and Stevie Wonder wil provide musical tributes. Her mentor producer, Clive Davis, will speak. Davis discovered Houston at a nightclub more than 20 years ago.

Houston died last Saturday in a bathtub in her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. She was 48. Her body arrived in New Jersey on Monday.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Houston will be buried at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J. It is the same place where her father was buried, the death certificate stated, as reported by the Times.
