It’s almost time to gobble turkey and overindulge on pumpkin pie, but before it’s time to turn your oven on its time to turn your television on for Thanksgiving Specials. From this evening right up until Thanksgiving, we have the run down on what you should be watching.

This evening at 8 p.m. on NBC the contestants of “The Biggest Loser” will deliver a Thanksgiving Special that involves carting boxes of food to aid in the relief of the Oklahoma Tornado victims. With all challenges on “The Biggest Loser,” you may want to tune in to see if the winners get to indulge in some stuffing and cranberry sauce as a reward. Does the diet stop for the holidays?

Other Thanksgiving Specials on tonight include “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” where the precinct enjoys a feast for the holiday. On Fox at 9 p.m. is the “New Girl” where a trip for Thanksgiving takes place and the wonder or disaster of the great out-doors is uncovered.

Thanksgiving Eve is a busy day for all, as people try to get to their loved ones for the family holiday. It is estimated at 43 million Americans will be hailing a cab, hopping on a train or boarding a plane to get to their holiday venue tomorrow. But for those who are at home and want to enjoy some television our bet is “Planes Trains And Automobiles”: The 1987 comedy starring John Candy and Steve Martin will have you in a happy festive mood for the holiday.

The “Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade” will be what to watch on Thursday with coverage starting at 9am on NBC and CBS from New York City. This will be the hottest show to watch live on the festive day and something fun to have on in the background as you prepare your feast.

But it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a little Charlie Brown which will air a Thanksgiving Special on 8pm on the ABC. Another holiday special airing at 930 on the ABC will feature pop sensation Lady Gaga and the Muppets.
