More than three years after Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom decided to go their separate ways it seems the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is ready to end their marriage for real. Following the former Los Angeles Lakers star’s hospitalization in October 2015, their divorce paperwork was dismissed, leaving many wondering whether they planned to attempt to work things out.

New reports suggest Khloé, 31, does plan to go through with her divorce — if she can look beyond the “tremendous amount of guilt.” According to TMZ, the youngest of the Kardashian sisters is fearful that if she finalizes the divorce documents Lamar, 36, will resort back to substance abuse. Despite worries linked to a recent alcohol-fueled outing, the ex NBA star reportedly doesn’t believe he has a problem. He is said to have refused to check into rehab.

Lamar was spotted at Johnny O’Brien pub in Sherman Oaks, California, on March 26. Another patron at the establishment snapped a photo of him purchasing drinks at the bar. TMZ later confirmed with a bartender that Lamar was there with friends for a few hours, leaving around 1 a.m. PDT. He purchased three Remy Martin drinks while he was there. The following morning he was seen entering a church with the Kardashian family for Easter services wearing the same clothes as the night prior.

It was first reported that Khloé and Lamar’s divorce had not been finalized in April 2015. At the time, TMZ reported that the former couple was being urged to either file the appropriate paperwork or risk having their divorce dismissed. They were said to have just a few weeks to get the documents in, however, sources claimed Khloé didn’t’ “want to deal with the divorce.” Months later, in October 2015 Lamar’s family told Media Take Out that the “KUWTK” star was slated to inherit her estranged husband’s $50 million fortune after he overdosed on a nearly-lethal combination of cocaine and herbal Viagra. At the time it was reported that the holdup with the divorce was not the fault of Khloé or Lamar, but rather the backlogged California court system.

It does not appear that either has made a decision about how they plan to proceed. Both Khloé and Lamar have been silent about their relationship for quite some time.
