Wheat Falls on Speculation of Reduced Demand
Wheat Futures fell in Chicago on Wednesday on speculation that demand will decline as foreign buyers will reduce purchases.
On Wednesday, Pakistan said it would postpone for a second time tenders of 610,000 metric tons of grain.
Wheat futures for March delivery fell 5.5. cents, or 0.6 percent to $9.265 per bushel on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Last week the USDA said growers in eastern parts of the U.S. Midwest sowed 31 percent more soft-red winter wheat from September through November than last year.
Wheat for March on the Kansas City Board of Trade rose 3 cents to $9.59 per bushel.
