A new streaming service brings new rules. Disney+ subscribers have to figure out when shows like “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” drop new episodes, and luckily, International Business Times got the answer.

The first episode of the “High School Musical” TV show hit the streaming service on its launch date last Tuesday, but the second episode was out by Friday. Don’t expect any more Tuesday releases. Fans will have to wait a full week between the rest of the episodes.

Disney+ has confirmed that new episodes of “HSM: TM: TS” will release on Fridays. The season will be 10 episodes long, which means there should be new episodes through the rest of 2019, with the Season 1 finale releasing Jan. 10.

“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” follows kids at East High, where the Disney Channel Original Movie was filmed. The scripted series shows a group of teenagers trying out for their high school’s first production of the musical, based on the movie that filmed at their high school. The series centers around Nini (Olivia Rodrigo), a junior whose boyfriend Ricky (Joshua Bassett) wanted to take a break over the summer. She went to theater camp and fell for E.J. (Matt Cornett), a natural leading man. However, Ricky is willing to do whatever it takes to win back Nini—even if it means joining the school musical.

The live action series, created by writer and former Broadway performer Tim Federle, is very different from the original “High School Musical.” The meta-references and documentary style makes it feel more like “Glee” meets “The Office.” The series has 77% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Disney+ is following a weekly release schedule for all of their new originals as of right now. “The Mandalorian,” “Encore!” and “The World According to Jeff Goldblum” will drop new episodes every Friday. Find out how to watch Disney+.
