It's almost time to start filling out brackets.

The 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is just days away as Mar. 11 marks Selection Sunday, which is when teams and seedings are announced for the single-elimination college tournament.

There is a First Four collection of games starting on Mar. 13 in which four lower-seeded teams battle to make the Second Round in the 64-team bracket. The Second Round will take place on Mar. 15 and 16.

The Final Four will take place on Mar. 31 at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, with the title game slated for Monday night on, April 2.

All games can be seen on CBS, TBS, TNT, and TruTV. Once again, opinionated and affable broadcaster Charles Barkely will be a studio analyst.

Connecticut won the tournament last year, but has struggled this season with the loss of Kemba Walker to the NBA. Kentucky and Syracuse are frontrunners to win the tournament, but there are several dark candidates, and there usually are a good share of Cinderella teams, as well.

Anthony Davis of Kentucky and Thomas Robinson of Kansas are two players to pay special attention to as they are among the favorites for Player of the Year honors.

Before the NCAA Tournament, otherwise known as March Madness, there is a Championship Week. Many teams look to advance to the tournament, or improve their seeding, by outperforming their conference rivals in a smaller tournament.
