The NBA Draft Lottery will take place in New York City on May 30, according to an announcement from ESPN.

The draft lottery will take place at ABC's Times Square Studios and will begin airing at 7 p.m. with the Kia NBA Countdown pregame show. The lottery drawing will happen at 8 p.m. with ESPN's coverage of game two of the Eastern Conference Finals at 8:30 p.m.

Last season the Cavaliers selected Duke guard Kyrie Irving, who went on the win the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. This year, Kentucky's dynamic duo of Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are projected to go first and second overall.

The Charlotte Bobcats, who had the worst winning percentage in NBA history, have the best odds of the No. 1 pick, followed by Washington, New Orleans and Cleveland.

ESPN basketball analyst Mark Jones will host the festivities with college basketball analyst Jay Bilas and Heather Cox providing additional coverage. The NBA Kia Countdown Studio crew of Magic Johnson, Jon Barry, Michael Wilbon and Chris Broussard will also be on hand to offer their analysis.
