Lifetime viewers no longer get to watch Asia Monet Ray strut her stuff each week on “Dance Moms,” but the young powerhouse is still living in the spotlight. The 10-year-old triple threat has been quite busy since parting ways with Abby Lee Miller’s elite junior team in 2013.

When Asia left “Dance Moms,” her mom, Kristie Ray, said it was in an effort to pursue other "opportunities" for her then-8-year-old daughter. And that she did. Asia went on to star in her own reality TV series on Lifetime, titled “Raising Asia,” in 2014. And now it appears the performer is headed back to the small screen with a different kind of programming.

Asia’s IMDb profile says she is in pre-production on FX’s upcoming drama “American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson.” Her profile states she will be playing Sydney Simpson on two episodes of the show. The Ryan Murphy anthology, which also stars Selma Blair, Cuba Gooding Jr., Sarah Paulson, David Schwimmer, Nathan Lane and John Travolta, to name a few, is set to premiere in 2016.

“Dance Moms” fans may be interested to know “American Crime Story” is not Asia’s first acting gig. In May, Air Media released “Sister Code,” a film starring Asia as a younger version of Amber Rose’s character, Lexi. The dramedy follows the story of three foster sisters in their quest to fight for their dreams. “Sister Code” is available for rent and purchase on Amazon and iTunes.

While Asia has not released a single this year, she has found success in the music business. She released her holiday single “Christmas Time” in November 2014. Fans will remember that she premiered a song from her debut album "Go Back" during the “Raising Asia” finale two months earlier.

And if you thought Asia’s busy schedule would impede on her dance training, think again. The former “Dance Moms” star was able to show off her best moves in a recent Target back-to-school commercial. She co-starred alongside former teammate Maddie Ziegler, in the promo.

Earlier this year Asia's dancing skills were put to the test again dancing in the “Whistle" video on the WilldaBeast Adams YouTube channel. “My first love will always be dancing. That’s where I come from,” Asia told IBTimes in July 2014. “But now I love singing and acting, and I’ve made room for all three.”

When she’s not busy working on perfecting her talents, Asia is taking in some of Hollywood’s biggest awards shows. In May, she hit the blue carpet at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California, brushing shoulders with some of television’s biggest stars. On Aug. 30, she made a cameo at the pre-party event for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
