Daenerys Targaryen
Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) may have her own kingdom to rule over in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” — but where is it? HBO

The Queen has arrived! Daenerys Targaryen is a natural born leader, and if the “Game of Thrones” Season 7 trailer is any indication, she’ll soon have a kingdom all her own.

A newly released trailer for the HBO original shows the Mother of Dragons taking to her throne. During the long walk to her seat viewers get a glimpse of an unfamiliar kingdom, adorned with dragon decor. While the trailer gives nothing away about Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) location, “Game of Thrones” fans seem to believe the castle’s in Dragonstone.

The show had yet to take fans to the former Targaryen-run city. It’s been the topic of much buzz ahead of the Season 7 premiere regardless. Fans snapped photos of Daenerys and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) coming face-to-face in an unfamiliar cliffside city and began speculating about the former Khaleesi returning to her homeland.

Daenerys isn’t the only one featured in the Season 7 trailer, though that would be just fine with us. Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Jon Snow and the Night King also appear. Cersei and Jon are both shown taking similar strolls to their seats of power. In the final moments, Cersei lets out an icy burst of breath before the camera zooms out from the white walkers’ ruler’s eye.

Cersei Lannister
A new “Game of Thrones” Season 7 trailer teases a great war of powerful leaders, including Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), to come. HBO

What does it all mean? The newest “Game of Thrones” Season 7 trailer may be a hint at the great war to come. While Cersei is no friend of Daenerys and Jon, they’ve got bigger fish to fry. As the King of the North said in a previous trailer, “the same thing is coming for all of us.” That same thing is, of course, the great war with the Night King and his army.
