Now that the Verizon iPhone rumors have been put to rest, attention has shifted to the other semi-mythical iPhone iteration -- the white iPhone 4.

Multiple reports of the white iPhone 4 appearing in various inventory systems have appeared today, stirring up conjecture that the white iPhone 4's release is, after multiple false rumors, finally drawing near.

BGR reports that entries for the 16 GB and 32 GB white iPhone 4 models, as well as their 3GS counterparts, appeared on the At&T Online Account Management System. Likewise, similar listings are reported to have appeared in Best Buy's inventory system, which dated the model to be in stock on February 27th. The two entries join a similar listing on Vodafone Germany's inventory system, which BGR reported last week.

Apple announced last October that the company was delaying the release of the white iPhone 4 until the Spring of this year. This has been consided by many analysts to be an unsual decision, considering the wide speculation that a new version of the iPhone is likely to appear this summer.

Calls to Best Buy and Apple for comment were not returned.
