Whitney Houston: Drug And White Powdery Substance Found In Hotel Bathroom
Paraphernalia Drug, Cocaine and a white powdery substance were found in Whitney Houston’s Hotel bath room on the day she died, according to coroner's report. Reuters

Whitney Houston died from accidental drowning related to the effects of cocaine use and heart disease, a Los Angeles County coroner's spokesman said Thursday.

In a statement the coroner said the official cause of death is: drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. The coroner also said the death was an “accident.”

The world famous pop singer was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room in Beverly Hills on Feb. 11.

She was 48.
