It was only a matter of time before some news organization published an open casket shot of the late Queen of Pop Whitney Houston, and who better to leak it to than the National Enquirer?

Now that the photo is out, the next question is: who leaked it?

The most obvious culprit would be the Houstons themselves. There were reports that Whitney was broke by the time she died, and they admitted to selling the footage to the Newark funeral, in part to help Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina.

But The Improper claims that the prime suspect is Tina Brown, her ex-husband Bobby Brown's sister, who gave an exclusive interview with the National Enquirer that ran in the same issue.

The tabloid will likely never disclose its source, The Improper writes, but it probably paid a pretty penny for the photo. Since it also has a two part interview with Bobby Brown's sister Tina in the paper as well, she is the prime suspect.

The interview features the usual quotes about Whitney's drug use—I did crack with Whitney! is the headline—including an admission that Tina was a mooch: Hey, I was using and she was paying. It was free.

At one point, according to Tina in the Enquirer interview, a crack dealer even got sick of the singer's antics:

A drug dealer had called Bobby and said, 'Come get your wife. I'm sick of this bitch. She's in here peeping out the windows and doing all kinds of s--t in the house.'

Tina learned Whitney had been in the drug den for days giving orders to dealers and drug buyers, telling some to leave, telling others where to sit, seeing demons, thinking she was under surveillance. It became too much for the dealer.

Bobby and security had to go get her, said Tina.

If Tina Brown (no relation to the Newsweek/Daily Beast editor) did leak the photo, it wouldn't be the first time. She was also behind the leaked photos in 2006 of Whitney Houston's bathroom that were sent to The Sun, which showed clearly that Houston had been cooking freebase cocaine—a.k.a., crack—in her bathroom, which is something that many crack users do to ensure the quality of their product, or to avoid the stigma of buying from a crack dealer.

When asked about her crack use, Houston told Dianne Sawyer in a now-famous interview, Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Let's get that straight. Okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is whack.

Tina Brown said after the 2006 leak to The Sun that Houston was using sex toys at the time to pleasure herself, and in the more recent interview, that she once laughed so hard that she peed on herself while high on crack.

With Bobby Brown himself making noises about writing a tell-all book about his relationship with Whitney Houston, this is probably not the last time we'll hear from the Browns.
