Alicia Etheredge, the wife of singer Bobby Brown, is reportedly four months pregnant. The baby news comes less than a week after Brown’s daughter with Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home.

According to TMZ, Etheredge and Brown had not yet shared their pregnancy news with family members. However, the secret allegedly came out when relatives gathered in the waiting room where Bobbi Kristina is hospitalized. If the rumors are true, this will be Etheredge and Brown's second child together.

Brown revealed to Complex that he met Etheredge at a dance studio before marrying Whitney Houston in 1992. The pair lost touch but then reconnected after his divorce from Houston in 2007. Etheredge, who became Brown’s manager, began dating the R&B singer shortly after. They welcomed their first child together, Cassius, in 2009, and became engaged the following year. Brown famously proposed to Etheredge while performing on stage at Funk Fest in Jacksonville, Florida.

The couple wed in June 2012, just months after Houston died from accidental drowning in a bathtub on Feb. 11. Brown’s children from a previous relationship attended the nuptials in Honolulu, but Bobbi Kristina was absent. His daughter reportedly was filming a reality show at the time and was not on “good terms” with her father.

Brown credits Etheredge for giving him a new outlook on life. “I got my passion back for music and for loving myself because of her,” he told People in 2011.

The pair has kept a low profile in recent years, but they were photographed outside Emory University Hospital on Wednesday. According to reports, Bobbi Kristina is on life support. However, Brown’s lawyer issued a statement denying the rumors:

“If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”
