Producer Amanda Segel accused Bob Weinstein, Harvey Weinstein's brother, of sexual harassment during the production of the television drama, "The Mist."

Segal is a writer and executive producer who alleged Bob Weinstein repeatedly made romantic propositions to her and often invited her to private dinners, Variety reported Tuesday.

The alleged sexual harassment began during the summer of 2016 and continued sporadically for several months until she threatened to leave the program.

"'No' should be enough," Segel told Variety. "After 'no,' anybody who has asked you out should just move on. Bob kept referring to me that he wanted to have a friendship. He didn’t want a friendship. He wanted more than that. My hope is that ‘no’ is enough from now on."

Bob Weinstein's representative denied such allegations in a statement provided to Variety.

"Bob Weinstein had dinner with Ms. Segel in LA in June 2016. He denies any claims that he behaved inappropriately at or after the dinner. It is most unfortunate that any such claim has been made," the statement said.

Bert Fields, Bob Weinstein’s lawyer, also defended his client in a statement.

"Variety’s story about Bob Weinstein is riddled with false and misleading assertions by Ms. Segel and we have the emails to prove it, but even if you believe what she says it contains not a hint of any inappropriate touching or even any request for such touching," Fields said.

Segal’s claims come on the heels of multiple accounts of alleged sexual harassment and assault released in an article by the New York Times last week against his older brother and business partner, Harvey Weinstein. Over 30 women have spoken out against Harvey Weinstein, which led to his firing by the board of The Weinstein Company and a domino-effect of partners and businesses distancing themselves from the company.

Segel most recently worked on "The Mist," a series that aired on the cable network "Spike TV." Described as a "fantasy thriller," it had a 10-episode first season that finished in August, which wasn't renewed for a second season. She has also worked on shows such as "The Good Wife" and "Person of Interest," according to her IMDb page.

She is currently working on a new series, in a work environment she said is "pleasantly low-key," and is focused on creating her own projects.
