Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker will play a key role in the team’s Super Bowl XLVIII matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, but his wife, model Anna Burns, will certainly attract her fair share of attention.

Before she met Welker, Burns was a star in her own right. In 2005 the bikini model was named Miss Hooters International. She’s also a former Hooters Calendar girl. A video of Burns’s Hooters calendar shoot can be viewed here.

It’s unclear how Burns and Welker starting dating, but they were first linked in 2010, while the 32-year-old wide receiver was still a member of the New England Patriots. Burns was identified as Welker’s girlfriend after she was spotted sitting in the owner’s box at a Patriots game.

By January 2012, Burns and Welker were engaged, according to The Big Lead. They were married in Aspen later that year.

In 2013, Burns made national headlines for a Facebook rant in which she bashed former Baltimore Ravens Ray Lewis after his team defeated Welker’s Patriots in the AFC Championship. “Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!” she wrote, according to ESPN.

Burns later apologized for the Facebook rant, acknowledging that she “let the competitiveness of the game and the comments people were making about a team I dearly love get the best of me,” USA Today reported.

Expect Fox’s cameras to find Burns in the MetLife Stadium crowd early and often on Sunday, especially if Welker gets a chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Pictures of Welker’s wife can be viewed in the slideshow above. In addition, USA Today compiled several photos of Burns from her modeling days, which can be viewed here.
