Students of 23-year-old math teacher Carly McKinney are defending her after she was suspended for tweeting nude photos of herself.

McKinney, who worked at Overland High School in Aurora, Colo., posted racy photos of herself on her Twitter account, @Crunk_Bear, which has since been deleted. She even called her students “jail bait” and had posts describing drug use, the Huffington Post reported.

Her bio on her account stated, “Stay sexy. Stay high. Stay drunk. Stay free. Stay trippy.”

But not all of her students are in favor of McKinney being suspended for her actions.

"It's a teacher that's only five or six years older than our oldest students," an Overland High School student, named Shaun, told 9News. "So we kind of relate to her on a personal level."

McKinney defended her actions, telling 9News that @Crunk_Bear was supposed to be a parody account, and that it was created with a friend who was responsible for several of the offensive tweets.

McKinney is not the only female teacher who has recently landed in trouble for speaking inappropriately about students via Twitter.

Anna Michelle Walters, 24, a substitute teacher at Cosby High School in Virginia, was fired in October after allegedly having sex with and sending inappropriate pictures to a recent graduate, Justin Foster.

Walters also texted Foster, who is now 18-years-old and a West Virginia University student. Foster showed the text messages on his Twitter page.

While Walters may have thought these personal exchanges were private, Foster evidently had no problem making them public for his more than 2,000 followers. Foster also publicized nude pictures Walters sent him. She was later arrested and sentenced to 12 months in prison.
