Congratulations are in order for Jennie Garth and boyfriend David Abrams. The pair, who have been dating only a few months, are officially engaged, reps tell People magazine. Abrams had reportedly been “working on this for months,” racking his brain for ways to make the engagement, which took place around her birthday, memorable. The couple has been spotted out and about together numerous times since going public about their relationship, but many may still wonder – who exactly is Garth's new fiancé ?

According to IMDb, Abrams is an actor best known for his role in “The Hike,” which was released in October 2011. He has also had small roles on hit TV series like “That 70s Show” and “2 Broke Girls.” He and Garth went public with their relationship in January, though it remains unclear how they met. A source told Us Weekly, “they met briefly once before a couple years ago.” The source also revealed that Abrams is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is “obsessed with golfing.”

In the short time they have been dating, Garth and Abrams have gone on numerous vacations together. The pair jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for a romantic getaway toward the beginning of their relationship. They have since spent one-on-one time in Santa Barbara, California, and even took Garth’s three children to Tulum, Mexico, to soak up the sun.

This will be the second marriage for Garth, 42. She wed Peter Facinelli in 2001; they divorced in March 2012. Facinelli got engaged to girlfriend Jaimie Alexander in March.
