After addressing the sexual harassment allegations against talk show host Charlie Rose, Wendy Williams, who hosts her own talk show, opened up on Tuesday about the “worst” guest on her show in the past who made inappropriate sexual advances toward her. Although she refrained from taking any names, her loyal fans dug up a photo which suggested that person Williams was talking about was none other than comedian Gottfried Gilbert.

“My worst guest, I'm not gonna name,” Williams told her audience on the show, New York Daily News reported. “But I can tell you this. It had to do with some groping, and you all saw it but didn't say a word. And I felt it and I didn't say a word. My staff saw it, and that guest will never be here anymore. He's not relevant anymore, anyway.”

"He hugs me, but lays in my breast inappropriately,” she added. “And I didn't know what to do, 'cause I'm brand new on TV, whereas now I would definitely push somebody through a glass coffee table. So I didn’t know what to do. After the hug, he looked up at me, he goes, 'Oh! You're not Oprah!'"

After Williams divulged details about the unnamed “worst” guest, mentioning that he appeared in season two or three of her show, when she was still getting used to the television industry, it did not take long to take for fans to dig up a photograph from an episode of her show that aired in 2011, where Gottfried is seen hugging Williams tightly and resting his head on her breasts.

The talk show host is seen awkwardly laughing with her eyes tightly shut during the captured moment. Inside Edition reached out to Gottfried and he said that he did not recall the incident from Williams’ show since it happened so many years ago. He also said that he could not remember whether he was banned from her show or not.

Gottfried, a standup comedian, is best known for a series of improvised short promos for MTV in 1980s, according to Biography. Before he landed the gig, he joined the revamped line up of “Saturday Night Live.” However, SNL did not prove to be a much of a life-changer for the comedian as he barely appeared on stage and at the end of the season, decided to part ways with the show.

Gottfried’s next big break was Bill Cosby’s NBC sitcom “The Cosby Show,” where he appeared a number of times in various sketches. After making a mark for himself with his unique squinting and screeching, Gottfried also appeared on “Late Night With David Letterman,” “Hollywood Squares,” “The Howard Stern Show” and “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.”

He has also starred in minor roles in movies such as “Beverly Hills Cop II” (1987), “Problem Child” (1990), “Problem Child 2” (1991) and “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane” (1990). Gottfried also provided the voice for the sarcastic parrot, Lago, in Disney's animated film “Aladdin” (1992).

Gottfried is also known for making the headlines for all the wrong reasons. One such occasion was when he took the stage in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In his bit, he complained about missing a flight because the plane in question had to take a little detour via the Empire State Building. Needless to say, the joke did not sit well with the audience.
