While Kate Middleton is at home with her two children for Easter weekend, husband Prince William reportedly will be in Kenya attending the wedding of one of his ex-girlfriends. The 33-year-old father of two is said to be spending Saturday at Jessica “Jecca” Craig’s nuptials to conservationist professor Jonathan Baillie.

Us Weekly reported William arrived in Africa Thursday for a four-day trip. He’s expected to visit with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, and reportedly also has plans to attend Craig’s wedding ceremony.

So who is Jecca Craig? The outlet reports Craig and William were first linked as a couple when they were teenagers. The romance was never confirmed by the Duke of Cambridge or Craig, but the Daily Mail reported Prince Charles’ had his staff issue a statement to the public dismissing the rumors.

The site said it was the first time, other than William’s relationship with Kate Middleton, that an official statement was posted about someone to whom the prince was connected. Supposedly, shortly after the official statement was released Craig was spotted sitting near the Duke of Cambridge at his 21st birthday party.

Whether the pair actually dated or not, it’s clear William is extremely close to Craig and her family. People magazine said the British royal skipped his cousin Peter Phillips’ wedding in 2008 so he could attend the nuptials of Craig’s brother, Batian.

There are also photos of William, his brother Prince Harry, Craig and other friends on a hunting trip in February 2014. At the time, Middleton was at home with Prince George. Craig and William’s bond doesn’t end there. While unconfirmed, it was rumored the two had a “pretend engagement” while they were supposedly dating. Ironically, William ended up proposing to Middleton on the Craig family’s safari reserve in 2010.
