Lindsay Lohan is moving on. Following her recent 90-day stint in rehab and release of her film “The Canyons,” the 27-year-old actress has reportedly begun dating former NFL player and reality star Matt Nordgren.

According to a report from Us Weekly, Lohan has been seeing Nordgren, now a Dallas businessman, after several years of friendship. “He’s a great influence on her,” a source told the magazine Tuesday. “He’s also a Christian and won’t drink around her. He’s trying to keep her sober and on the straight and narrow. He’s really good for her,” the source later added.

So just who is the man that allegedly won over the former “Parent Trap” child star's heart? Turns out Nordgren has a history in the entertainment business, as he starred in Bravo’s reality series “Most Eligible: Dallas” in 2011. Before his TV gig, the 30-year-old Texas native reportedly played for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006 following his college football career at the University of Texas as a quarterback. According to his personal website, Nordgren currently works as an executive for his family’s energy consulting firm, Nordco Inc. Energy Systems, in Dallas.

Nordgren commented on his relationship with Lohan last week, telling the New York Post’s Page Six that he and the actress have been longtime friends. “We’ve hung out,” said Nordgren, also mentioning her current sobriety. “She’s [been] completely sober for months now. She’s in a great place, she’s thinking clear and working hard and meeting with all the right people,” he added.

While Lohan is allegedly smitten with her rumored new beau, the actress’ family and friends are also reportedly happy about the relationship. “Her friends and family love him," a source revealed to Us Weekly. “He's older, a successful businessman, and he has been a great friend to her.”

This is the first rumored romantic relationship for Lohan since March. The actress was previously linked to guitarist Avi Snow earlier this year after the two were spotted partying at a nightclub in Santa Monica.
