“Big Bang Theory” actress Kaley Cuoco and her new boyfriend, professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting, made their red carpet debut at this weekend's Primetime Emmy Awards festivities.
Cuoco and Sweeting attended Entertainment Weekly’s pre-Emmys party together on Friday, Us Weekly reports. The couple wore matching outfits: Cuoco wore a black Pamelle Roland dress, while Sweeting looked sharp in a standard black suit and tie.
The 27-year-old actress, who plays Penny on “The Big Bang Theory,” took to Twitter to express her excitement over the appearance. “#emmyweekend greatest date ever [Ryan Sweeting],” Cuoco posted on Twitter and Instagram, accompanied by a photo of the couple. Cuoco and Sweeting also attended the Primetime Emmy Awards show together.
Cuoco was first linked to the 26-year-old tennis player in early August, when the pair were spotted together at a horse ranch in Moorpark, Calif., Us Weekly reports. The couple was reportedly seen getting lunch together the next day at Marmalade Café in Sherman Oaks, Calif., and has been dating ever since.
The “Big Bang Theory” actress’ new romance comes on the heels of her rumored rendezvous with “Man of Steel” star Henry Cavill, whom Cuoco reportedly dated in July, Us Weekly reports. The 27-year-old has also dated “Big Bang Theory” co-star Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard Hofstadter on the Emmy-winning program.
Haining from the Bahamas, Sweeting has compiled a 35-57 career record as a professional, winning the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships in 2011. He currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
