“Will & Grace” star Sean Hayes has officially tied the knot. The notoriously private actor confirmed to his fans Thursday that he recently married his longtime partner, Scott Icenogle.

“Here’s a #TBT photo of Scotty and me getting married last week,” Hayes, 44, posted to his Facebook and Twitter accounts. “Took us 8 years but we did it!”

Hayes, best known for playing Jack McFarland on the 1990s comedy “Will & Grace,” and most recently of “The Millers,” announcement his engagement via People magazine last month. The Emmy award-winning actor’s rep confirmed his plans to marry Icenogle following rumors they had already wed after he was spotted wearing an apparent wedding band on his left ring finger during an appearance on “The Talk” Oct. 27.

So just who is Scott Icenogle? According to his official website, he is a Los Angeles-based music producer and composer. He previously lent his talents to help create the theme songs for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and Hayes’ defunct NBC series, “Sean Saves the World.” Some of his most famous remix projects include Christina Aguilera’s “Ain’t No Other Man” and Katy Perry’s “California Girls.” He has also worked with Beyoncé, Celina Dion and “Smash” star, actress and singer Megan Hilty.

According to Icenogle’s Facebook page, he is an Alexandria,Virginia, native, and an employee of S-Kape Productions. He previously worked for MGM Channels and Alternative Marketing Solutions. He attended college at the University of Iowa, studying communications, broadcasting and film. His social media accounts also reveal that he is a big “Stars Wars” and Billy Joel fan.

Hayes last discussed his relationship with Icenogle in 2010 during an interview with the Advocate. The interview was also the first time Hayes publicly confirmed his sexuality. “I spend time with a special someone in my life. That’s it. That all I need," he said. "I don’t need events. I don’t do a lot. I live my life like an 85-year-old man. I’m just quiet. It’s fantastic.”

Despite his preference to keep his personal life private, Hayes has shared several images of his longtime love on social media recently. On Election Day, Hayes posted a photo to Instagram of the couple standing next to an American flag and showing off their “I voted” stickers. In May, Hayes also shared an image on Facebook of the pair smiling during their vacation in Istanbul. Following in his better half’s footsteps, Icenogle also recently posted a picture of himself posing with Hayes on Facebook. “Happy Birthday to my fella today,” he captioned an image of Hayes holding some celebratory balloons. “Here’s to the next 44 years."
