Filmmaker Michael Moore is lining up celebrities for a pre-inauguration protest in front of Trump International Hotel and Tower in New York and defending Rep. John Lewis’ assessment that Donald Trump’s election was not legitimate.

Moore tweeted Saturday “Avengers” actor Mark Ruffalo and Alec Baldwin, who has been impersonating Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” would join him in front of the Trump-developed building about a half-mile from Trump’s residence in Trump Tower on Thursday at 6 p.m. to protest Friday’s inauguration of Trump in Washington.

He later added Rosie Perez, the Rev. Al Sharpton and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio to the list of those participating.

On Faceboook, Moore listed six reasons he does not think Trump is fit to assume the presidency. Moore cited Democrat Hillary Clinton’s popular vote margin, what he described as Trump’s narcissistic tendencies, Russian interference in the election, FBI Director James Comey’s interference in the process, the nomination of ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson to be secretary of state and the possibility Trump has committed felonies such as tax evasion and sexual assault.

Organizers of the event include Greenpeace and the liberal activist organization MoveOn.

The Associated Press reported the rally, which is expected to draw thousands, will focus on immigration, climate change, healthcare and workers’ rights.

"We are sending a message to Washington that we will fight, at every step, discrimination and harmful policies, today, tomorrow and every day," Ruffalo said in a statement, adding participants "are coming together to stand up for one another, as we will do every day, to protect the values we hold dear."

Moore said Lewis was right in saying he didn’t see Trump “as a legitimate president.”

Lewis said in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” rejected Trump in light of Russia’s attempts to meddle in the election.

"I don't see the president-elect as a legitimate president," Lewis said.
