Step aside, Abby Lee Miller — There’s a new “Dance Moms” host in town. One day after the Lifetime star announced her departure, the network may have found a replacement.

According to ET Online, “Dancing With the Stars” pro Cheryl Burke will fill Miller’s shoes. “Dance Moms” will begin filming again on Wednesday with the dancer at the helm. After some uncertainty, Lifetime has reportedly picked the show up for four more episodes in Season 8.

“It’s a go with or without Abby,” one source told ET. “It’s been up in the air because the network said it’s either all of the cast or they weren’t doing any [more episodes].”

While the publication reported that Burke would be replacing Miller in the long term, she wasn’t the only one “Dance Moms” called on for help. Choreographer Laurieann Gibson also stepped in to teach the girls after their teacher “bolted from [filming].” Sources told ET Gibson filmed “Dance Moms” for a few weeks before Miller returned with demands that included barring Gibson from the set and no one saying “jail.”

Miller made her “Dance Moms” exit official on Monday in an Instagram post, stating that she would no longer be “MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED.” Miller targeted unnamed men in her post who “TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT.”

None of the show’s stars have responded to Miller’s “Dance Moms” departure. Holly Frazier did post a text photo that some felt was a shot at the former coach. She hinted at big changes ahead writing, “An end of an era, the beginning of our future.”

Outside the show, Miller continues to battle legal issues. She’s preparing for sentencing in an ongoing bankruptcy fraud case. Miller faced indictment in 2015. Authorities postponed her Feb. 24 sentencing hearing, but Us Weekly reports that she’s still facing up to 30 months in jail.
