It looks like fans are going to see another familiar face when the “The Voice” Season 14 premieres. Although NBC is currently airing the 13th season of the singing competition, the network has already announced who will be on hand when the show returns again for new episodes in 2018.

On Wednesday, a video was shared to show's Twitter account, featuring Kelly Clarkson, who revealed Alicia Keys will be returning to judge Season 14. While this will be Clarkson’s first time judging the show, the “Girl on Fire” singer is no stranger to the competition.

Keys, who made her debut on the series in Season 11 and was coach to Season 12 winner Chris Blue, will return for the third time and a second chance at victory.

Clarkson seemed more than happy to introduce the fourth judge in the video, however, it took her some time before she could share the big reveal. In the video, the “American Idol” alum is seen standing in front of the door and preparing to open it and introduce the fourth judge.

“I’m so excited because I get to introduce who the final, fourth coach is on season 14. I’m the new one, but this the fourth one that we haven't mentioned yet,” she says to the camera.

When the star opens the door, she is greeted by returning judges Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, who have been coaches on “The Voice” since its series premiere in 2011.

Although the men seem eager to get their camera time in, Keys finally pushes past them and hugs Clarkson, revealing she will be the final addition to the team. “Defending my crown,” she says to the camera.

Excited to have another female on the panel, Clarkson jokes that the real competition is between herself and Keys. “Let’s get rid of the toddlers and it’s going to just be me and Alicia this season,” she joked.

Keys, who released her sixth studio album, “Here,” last year and is a 15 time Grammy Award winning artist, seemed to share Clarkson’s excitement about the news. About an hour ahead of the big announcement, the “No One” singer shared several photos of herself looking to be in great spirits, while rocking the same outfit she wore in the Twitter video. She simply captioned the images, “#currentmood.”

According to E! News, Paul Telegedy, the President of NBC Entertainment’s Alternative and Reality Group, released a statement welcoming Keys back to the popular singing competition.

“We are thrilled to welcome back Alicia’s positive energy, competitive spirit and sheer talent. She brings unparalleled expertise and has proven she knows how to help artists win,” he said.“The chemistry between Alicia, Kelly, Adam and Blake will make for a wildly unpredictable and compelling season 14!”

Although Keys' return seems to be highly anticipated, at the moment, “The Voice” Season 13 is still taking place. The current panel of coaches includes Levine, Shelton, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson.

While fans will have to wait for Keys and Clarkson to grace the small screen, they can tune into the current season of “The Voice” which airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
