“Bang Bang” singer Ariana Grande performed at the 2014 Country Music Association Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday night and some Twitter users wondered why the pop artist was even there. “Why is Ariana Grande” began to trend on the social media site during the ceremony, with people providing various different answers to the question.
Some people wanted her to “go home” because she was not country enough:
Why is Ariana Grande at the #CMAawards like no. This is the COUNTRY MUSIC awards. go home.

The questions and upset might have stemmed from Taylor Swift not attending the awards show. “Postpartum Taylor Swift Disorder,” which was a joke made during a monologue by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, began to trend during the event as many fans wished she was there.
I suffer from PostPartum Taylor Swift Disorder.
