Why Did ‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay Skip Her Engagement Party With ‘Bachelor’ Alums?

Rachel Lindsay was missing in action during her supposed engagement party.

“Bachelor” alums Raven Gates, Astrid Loch, Danielle Lombard, Jasmine Goode, Sarah Vendal and Alexis Waters are in Punta Cana at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino supposedly to celebrate Lindsay’s engagement. Unfortunately, the soon-to-be bride missed her flight and was not able to attend her own engagement party. She has yet to clarify what exactly happened.

“All of the girls went this weekend because Rachel’s obviously engaged and this was going to be her fun getaway weekend to celebrate. She somehow didn’t make it on her flight yesterday. No one has any idea what’s going on,” a source told E! News. “She was supposed to be there. It’s her trip. But at the last minute, she didn’t show up.”

Although the guest of honor was missing, this did not stop the girls from enjoying their stay at the all-inclusive resort. The ladies will enjoy free alcohol and choose among 13 pools and nine restaurants. Aside from this, they can have some fun with the giant chess board and miniature golf or go horseback riding. Jack Stone, Adam Gottschalk and Iggy Rodriguez are coming to meet the girls later this week. However, the first two days are exclusive for girls.

The “Bachelor” alums have been enjoying their stay. In the photos shared by Us Weekly, they even gave a toast for the missing bride. Waters also shared a photo of them in their bikinis as they struck a pose under the heat of the sun. “Celebrating @therachlindsay engagement without @therachlindsay #hardrockpuntacana,” she wrote on Instagram.

As for Lindsay’s mysterious fiancé, Waters told Us Weekly that she’s very much in love with him. In fact, when they are together, “The Bachelorette” star only talks about him. “She’s creepily happy. Every time I hang out with her she’s talking about him 24/7 … She’s in love,” she said of Lindsay and her beau.

Lindsay has admitted that she wants to reveal which guy she fell in love, but she has to wait until the final episode airs. “I am so excited I found The One. He’s so amazing! We cannot wait to walk down the street hand in hand. I just want to be in public and do simple things like grab a cup of coffee together,” she said.
