Ciara may have broken off her engagement to Future due to cheating allegations, but the two are reportedly back together. Rumors first sparked in August about a breakup, after the singer was spotted in Ibiza without her engagement ring.

She decided to get back together with him, however, and it is because of their son. Future and Ciara are living together again and “trying to make things work between them so Future can help take care of their four-month-old son, Future Zahir,” TMZ reports. Ciara reportedly was not interested in a shared parenting situation, and believes Future is a good father and “that it’s best for their son if his dad’s there.”

“He cheated on her. Game over,” a source told Us Weekly last month about why they broke up. “She’s devastated. Ciara’s focus now is the baby.” Future reportedly cheated on Ciara with his stylist while he was on tour.

The 28-year-old recently gave birth to their first child together, and even posed for Bride magazine last month, while explaining how she knew Future was the one for her. “I knew right away that he was different. Now he's my best friend in the world, my partner," Ciara said at the time. She and Future met through her label, and they began dating in 2012. Future proposed to Ciara last year on her Oct. 25 birthday.

In January, Ciara confirmed on "The View" that she was pregnant with her first child after her fashion choices sparked months of speculation. The R&B singer shared many photos on her Instagram page, primarily showing herself in baggy clothes that hid her stomach, prompting fans to figure she was hiding a baby bump.

After she gave birth, Ciara’s then-fiancé told Us Weekly, “She'll be a great mom. She's working at it every day, and over time, I think she'll be the best.” Speaking of his newborn son, Future added: “I want him to be better than me. I would encourage him in anything he wants to do. I want to be behind him, of course.”

He was also asked about diaper duty, saying: “You have to say you did it. I'll make sure I change a few diapers -- a hands-on dad.”
