The U.S. finale of Shania Twain’s “Rock This Country” tour didn’t go as planned. The singer had to cancel her last two American shows due to health issues.

“Shania Twain’s doctors have advised her to rest for several days after she was diagnosed with a respiratory infection,” a post on her official Facebook page reads.

Twain is in the midst of her farewell tour. The 50-year-old began the “Rock This Country” tour in June with a packed schedule of 74 concert dates. Because of how booked the singer is, she will not reschedule the shows that were supposed to take place on Oct. 6 in Manchester, New Hampshire, and Oct. 7 in Albany, New York.

“The concert dates are unable to be rescheduled due to Shania Twain’s current touring schedule,” the post explains. “All tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. Shania Twain apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause her fans and greatly appreciates their understanding.”

The country singer is expected to recover for her last seven shows, beginning with an Oct. 9 concert in Quebec City. The tour will wrap up in Canada, her home country, on Oct. 27.

Though she held a residency in Las Vegas from 2012-2014, this is Twain’s first tour in 11 years. When she announced the performances, the “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” singer said she was excited for the upcoming shows. “This is my last tour,” she said on “Good Morning America” (via People) in March. “I'm going to make the most of it. Let's put it that way ... I just really want to go out with a bang."

Though Twain plans “Rock This Country” to be her last outing, she still wants to make music. She’ll head into the studio after she finishes the live performances.

“This is certainly not my retirement from music,” she assured Billboard in May. “I will be doing music for sure until the day I die. … The time is just right, now, to do other things musically. I want to write more. I want to makes lots more records. I miss making records, and I haven't made enough records in my life and my career.”

Tickets for Twain’s final Canadian tour dates are on sale now.
