With the “Pretty Little Liars” series finale just hours away, there are so many questions that need to be answered. Actress Lucy Hale’s latest Instagram photo created even more questions for fans when she shared a photo featuring her character in a wedding dress.

On Tuesday, the star who plays Aria Montgomery on the series shared a photo of herself in character as she posed in a wedding dress with her cast members who were dressed in bridesmaid gowns.

Although the picture shows what could be a special moment shared between friends, there are some doubts about whether Aria’s wedding to Ezra (Ian Harding) will actually happen. In the promo for “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, episode 20, Aria can be seen telling Spencer (Troian Bellisario) that she can’t marry Ezra.

Furthermore, Freeform has released several episodic photos from “Til Death Do Us Part,” which shows Aria and her friends looking distraught. In one of the photos, Aria can be seen sitting on a couch in her wedding gown while holding her cell phone to her ear.

Emily (Shay Mitchell), Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Spencer and Hanna (Ashley Benson) can be seen standing in front of her looking worried as if something has gone terribly wrong.

“Pretty Little Liars” showrunner Marlene King, previously promised that two weddings would happen in the final season, but she never verified who would walk down the aisle. “We’ve always said that there was going to be at least one wedding, but I can promise you that in the next three episodes, there will be two more weddings on the show,” she told Entertainment Weekly.

Hanna and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) have already tied the knot which leaves the last wedding up in the air. Although Aria is wearing a wedding dress in the photo, Emily is seen wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger. Did she and Alison take their relationship to the next level?

Even though it is unclear who will walk down the aisle and how each love story will wrap up, King has hinted that fans of the series will be satisfied with how the series says goodbye and will get plenty of closure when the series airs its final episode.

King revealed that the final episode will display three endings. “Let me tell you though, the finale has almost three endings,” the showrunner told Vulture. “I feel like each one of them gives us a little bit more closure. It’s a little booster, like two little extra moments. And we have a time jump as well,” she stated.

“It gave us a chance to really start with a fresh breath of air, so you feel like you’re watching a two-hour movie you can see in the theater with a beginning, middle, and end,” King added.

The “Pretty Little Liars” series finale airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
