Daniel Radcliffe has played one iconic character and that role will probably be associated with him for a long time. The “Harry Potter” star was the boy wizard in all of J.K. Rowling’s film adaptations of her famous series of novels, and while he doesn’t look down upon his well-known role, he’s ready to move on from playing illustrious parts.

Now that he’s tucked away his Hogwarts wand, the actor told The Sun he wouldn’t be picked to play an ultramasculine character: “I am never going to be cast to play a Bruce Willis character in Die Hard.”

Still, he hasn’t written off appearing in a Bond movie, just as long as he’s not playing the debonair protagonist: “I would make a much better villain than Bond -- am not nearly strapping enough to play Bond.”

Incidentally, the 23-year-old, who stands about 5’5,’’ according to Eonline.com, doesn’t have any interest in playing Doctor Who anytime soon, either. "I've done one iconic character, that might be enough," he said.

Radcliffe has recently been open with the public, even admitting that he was looking forward to starting a family in the near future.

“I definitely want to have kids,” the actor said in a Time Out interview, according the Telegraph. “I’ve grown up around lots of people who were having kids when I knew them, because a lot of them were a lot older than me. And I saw the wonderful change in them. I see that it gives you a sense of purpose that up till now I only really get from work.”

His latest acting role was in "The Cripple of Inishmaan," which premiered in London June 8.
