Emma Roberts is one busy gal. The 25-year-old actress was on hand at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday to promote her new movie, “Nerve,” and the upcoming second season of “Scream Queens.” Fans of the blonde beauty got a special treat when she divulged some news about Season 6 of “American Horror Story.”

Roberts first appeared on the FX anthology series in Season 3, “Coven,” as bad-girl witch Madison Montgomery. She returned in Season 4, “Freak Show,” as con-artist Maggie Esmerelda, but took a break from the series in Season 5.

So, is the actress returning for Season 6? One curious fan made sure to grill her while at SDCC.

“I think that there might be — I was going to last season,” Roberts explained of the opportunity to join the cast. “I would love to go back and do a few episodes.”

Although Roberts is the star of Fox’s “Scream Queens,” duel TV roles wouldn’t be too difficult for the actress. As Us Weekly points out, “Scream Queens” creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are also the creative geniuses behind “American Horror Story.”

Details about the upcoming sixth season are scarce. A title has yet to be announced, but a couple of returning cast members have been confirmed. Fans can look forward to seeing Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Angela Bassett, Matt Bomer, Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson and Leslie Jordan.

“American Horror Story” Season 6 will premiere on FX on Sept. 14.
