Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Luke (Scott Patterson) will be together when “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” hits Netflix this fall. Netflix

Luke and Lorelai didn’t exactly get the fairytale ending they deserved in the original “Gilmore Girls” series finale, but the Netflix revival is sure to fix that. Actor Scott Patterson revealed that the diner owner and coffee addict are still together in “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.”

“I can tell you that we are together,” Patterson told People. “We are together and we're sort of figuring out our next step.”

Is that next step a baby? Patterson wouldn’t address the pregnancy rumors that have been flying since the first trailer came out. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) wears a “I’m with human” sweater in the video (above), leading fans to believe she is pregnant. Then, the “Gilmore Girls” Instagram posted a picture of Pop-Tarts with an apple. Lorelai, a notorious junk food lover, once said she only craved apples when she was pregnant.

Even if a little Gilmore-Danes baby isn’t in the future, it’s reassuring to know that Lorelai is finally with her true love. It sounds like there is still plenty of chemistry between the two actors, as well as the whole cast.

“That came immediately, that's never been an issue,” added. “That’s part of why the show is so successful I mean, [creator Amy Sherman-Palladino] cast the right people.”

With Lorelai and Luke seemingly settled down, fans just have to worry about Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) love life. Three of her exes — Dean (Jared Padalecki), Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) and Logan (Matt Czurchy) — will make appearances, but it isn’t clear if any will win her back.

Padalecki warned that some viewers might not love what happens to Rory romantically. “There will always be some fans who are unhappy, but I think they'll be pleased with it,” Padalecki teased to Us Weekly last month.

“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” premieres Friday, Nov. 25 on Netflix.
