If President Barack Obama loses the election on Nov. 6, First Lady Michelle Obama could quickly be in the running for a new job -- daytime talk show host.

The effervescent president’s wife has been compared to talk show mogul, Oprah Winfrey, according to the Daily Mail. She is to date the most visible First Lady, having appeared on more TV talk shows than any other.

Obama has become a regular on many shows over the last four years, such as “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where she famously beat DeGeneres in a push up contest.

“Personally I would like to see her in the White House,” said Hilary Estey McLoughlin, president of syndication company behind the Ellen DeGeneres show.

“But if she were not going to be in the White House, I'd love to see her as the host of a show. She's amazing.”

Obama has also visited “The Dr. Oz Show,” in order to promote her healthy eating campaign, has been a guest on Sesame Street, and “The View,” which she visited with the president.

She is the first, First Lady to be featured on a reality show; she appeared on “Iron Chef,” where contestants cooked with ingredients from the White House garden.

TV executives believe that the First Lady could fill a void that was left when Oprah Winfrey left daytime television in 2010 to start her own TV network.

Former CNN president, Jon Klein, suggests that daytime syndicators are anxious to establish the next big talk show name and believes that Obama, who he said is “tailor made for it,” may have a lot of TV suitors, depending on the outcome of the election.

“She reminds me of Oprah Winfrey as someone who has the ability to make people understand complex things in a simple way,” he told TV Guide magazine.

“She’s thoughtful. She’s committed. She’s a working mom. She’d be a strong voice on issues important to her.”
