Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris had a messy breakup, and Harris even took a swipe against his ex-girlfriend after she got together with “The Night Manager” star Tom Hiddleston.

But now that the dust has settled (and Swift is single again after breaking up with Hiddleston), is there any chance for the ex-couple to rekindle their romance?

A source told ET that chances are slim, since Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles, is currently enjoying his bachelor status. “Adam is single. He is dating a few different women. Nothing has stuck. He is not looking for a relationship at all, just fun times with friends,” the source said. “Adam is in a much better place after the breakup with Taylor.”

Harris was admittedly upset after his relationship with Swift came to a close, but he has managed to move on. In fact, he only wishes his ex-girlfriend nothing but the best in her life.

“Adam is not surprised that the relationship did not work with Tom and Taylor,” the insider continued. “He is just happy to not be in the relationship anymore and realized they were not a good fit in the end, but he wishes her the best!”

During an interview with GQ, Harris expressed regret that he lambasted Swift on social media over songwriting credits after their split. The DJ said he was protecting his ego, but he realized his mistake.

“It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled,” Harris said.

He was talking about his hit song “This is What You Came For,” which Swift’s team claimed the “Shake It Off” singer wrote under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, reported Variety. But for his part, Harris said he “wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals.”

Harris admitted he “snapped” on Twitter, so “all hell broke loose.” But he acknowledged now that he should have kept silent.

“When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense,” said Harris.
