In what has been a traumatic, emotional two months in the case, a suspect in the brutal assault of San Francisco Giants' fan Bryan Stow has finally been arrested and taken into custody by Los Angeles police, according to the LA Times.

According to a building manager, LAPD SWAT raided an apartment complex, as police evacuated residents of the buildings.

The man taken into custody was described as having a bald head and tattoos on his neck and arms and appeared to match facial sketches released by police.

Stow, a Giants fan and father of two, was brutally beaten outside of Dodgers Stadium on opening day, after a game with the visiting Giants. The assailants fled have been at large ever since the assault.

Stow was put into a medically induced coma and aggressively treated by Los Angeles area doctors. He has recently been medically transported back to San Francisco to be treated by specialists in the Bay Area and to be closer to loved ones.
