"Teen Wolf" returns for season 4 on Monday, June 23 at 10 p.m. MTV

Some may be groaning because it is Monday … but for others January 6 means the return of some fantastic TV shows. Settle in for the week as we break down the season and midseason premieres for the day.

The night kicks off at 8 p.m. with the season 18 premiere of “The Bachelor” on ABC and the return of “Almost Human” on Fox. At 9 p.m. “Single Ladies” returns to VH1 for its third season and “Hostages” wraps up its freshman season with a two-hour finale. Monday continues with the midseason premiere of “Castle” on ABC and the season 3B premiere of “Teen Wolf” on MTV. “Teen Wolf” fans can then go into wolf-overload with MTV’s new series, “Wolf Watch” at 11 p.m.

“The Bachelor” (Monday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC)

Juan Pablo lovers rejoice because today is the day that the Latin lover takes “The Bachelor” reins from Sean Lowe. The fun kicks off on ABC at 8 p.m. when those unfamiliar with the former Desiree Hartsock “Bachelorette” contestant get a peek at what he’s looking for in a woman. Things get wild when Juan Pablo meets not 25 … but 27 beautiful women who want to his “one.” Watch as Juan Pablo is forced to send nine girls home on day one.

“Almost Human” (Monday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox)

Things turn deadly in episode 7, “Simon Says,” when Det. Kennex and Dorian investigate Simon … an insane killer who is “strapping bombs to his victims’ neck and broadcasting their final moments over the internet.” The twist? Simon decides he wants Kennex to be his next victim.

“Hostages” (Monday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS)

“Hostages” concludes its first season with a two-hour finale in which Duncan discovers Sandrine’s betrayal. Duncan decides to use the new knowledge to his advantage to save his wife and daughter; meanwhile Ellen is confronted by the First Lady right before the President’s operation.

“Single Ladies” (Monday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m. EST on VH1)

The girls reunite for a wedding during the season 3 premiere, “One Wedding and a Funeral.”

“Castle” (Monday, Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC)

Castle and Bechett begin to investigate a body found in a building fire after it’s discovered that the cause of death was actually a gunshot wound. Meanwhile, complications arise with the delivery of Ryan’s baby.

“Teen Wolf” (Monday, Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV)

During the mid-season premiere Scott, Stiles and Allison are experiencing strange side effects.

“Wolf Watch” (Monday, Jan. 6 at 11 p.m. EST on MTV)

“Teen Wolf” has taken a page from “The Walking Dead” handbook and creating a “Talking Dead”-inspired show – “Wolf Watch.” The series is hosted by “Teen Wolf” co-star Jill Wagner.
