“Witches of East End” may be taking a break from casting spells until the hit Lifetime series returns Sunday, Sept. 7, but that doesn’t mean fans should have to go through witch-withdrawal during Labor Day weekend! The supernatural series released exciting (and dare we say sexy) new promo photos for episode 8. But with an episode title like “Sex, Lies and Birthday Cake,” what else could you expect?
The synopsis for episode 8 revealed that Freya and Frederick will be celebrating a milestone birthday. That explains the birthday cake! But what’s up with the “sex” and “lies” part of the episode title? Well, according to the summary, the show’s newest character, Tarkoff, will be putting some pressure on Frederick (who we just learned was the vessel for the evil Asgard King) to complete his grandfather’s menacing plan.
But just because episode 8 will be heavy with Asgard-drama doesn’t mean you shouldn’t expect a few steamy moments between our favorite witches and warlocks. Rumor has it that Ingrid and Dash will grow closer in the upcoming episode, despite Freya’s disapproval.
During episode 7, Ingrid revealed to her sister that she was accompanying Freya’s ex-fiancé to an art gala. However, Ingrid didn’t get the reaction she was hoping for. Freya said she didn’t trust Dash -- not after what he said while high off the Mandragora’s poison. The warlock revealed some chill-worthy things, like how he wished all the Beauchamp women harm. And last time we checked Ingrid was one of them. Could dating Ingrid be a way at plotting some sort of revenge or does Dash truly have feelings for the witch known as The Key?
But according to the promo images for episode 8 it looks Freya will be putting her issues with Dash aside to celebrate her big day!
Frillian fans will also be excited to see Freya and Killian flirting a bit in the promotional images. In one photo viewers witness Freya giving the love of her "lives" a palm reading. Maybe she’ll be able to see that her future with Killian is being tampered with thanks to a certain island witch named Eva.
