A study released by The Kinsey Institute of Indiana indicated that men enjoy cuddling and hugging more than woman. The 1,009 couples surveyed were middle-aged or older and have been in their relationship for 25 or more years. Ironically, the study suggests that as time increases, men long for love, affection, and attention more than women.
Men were more likely to report being happy in their relationship, while women were more likely to report being satisfied with their sexual relationship, the report read.
The couples came from varying countries including Brazil, Japan, Spain, and the United States. The study concentrated on the most recent four weeks of intimate and sexual relations.
The study said that men feel most fulfilled when they are in long-term relationships and that cuddling and kissing increases men's happiness. Moreover, happiness is directly related to increases in life expectancy and improved health.
Interestingly, women feel happiest and most sexually satisfied when they have been in a relationship for at least 15 years, confirming that practice makes perfect. However, if you add another five years to the relationship, sexual satisfaction decreases, confirming that you can have too much of a good thing.
Although women are more interested in their sexual relationships than the actual relationships, it doesn't look like the typical American and Spanish woman is interested in many sexual partners.
