Chris Jericho is planning to left the WWE once again to tour with his heavy metal band Fozzy. WWE

One of the biggest superstars in WWE history could be done with the company, for good.

Chris Jericho left the company in August, with many expecting the wrestler to eventually return. In a recent interview with The Daily Star’s Patrick Lennon, however, Jericho hinted that his last run with the WWE might have been his last.

“I’m always cool with them (WWE) and always open to going back, but it’s difficult,” said Jericho. “I would have liked to have done more, maybe, but they want your time exclusively and the longer I’ve been there, the less time I have. Hopefully we’ll work together in the future.”

Jericho most recently left to go on tour with his rock band, Fozzy. It is the third time he has left the WWE to pursue other ventures, and he might not return for another run.

“I don’t know if it’s bulls-- but there is very much that attitude in WWE – sometimes ‘if you’re not with us you’re against us’. It’s been there so long I find it kind of weird.”

In his latest run with the WWE, Jericho feuded with champion CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler. He made news in May when he was suspended for desecrating a Brazilian flag.
