The WWE’s final Pay-Per-View of 2012 will get underway on Sunday night. TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs is set to be held at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The PPV will feature several big matches, including the main event, in which tables, ladders and chairs will all be legal. Ryback will join tag team champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, also known as Team Hell No, against The Shield.

The final match of the night was scheduled to be WWE champion CM Punk against Ryback. After Punk underwent knee surgery, the match was called off, ensuring that Punk’s title reign would continue to make history. When Punk appears on the next “Monday Night Raw,” he will have held the championship for 393 days and counting.

John Cena will challenge Dolph Ziggler in a ladder match. The winner will claim ownership to Ziggler’s Money in the Bank contract for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Three titles will be on the line at the PPV. They include Big Show vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight championship, Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental championship and Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth for the U.S. Championship.

It’s often hard to make predictions about what will happen at WWE PPV’s. At Hell in a Cell, referee Brad Maddox helped CM Punk retain his title. Less than a month later at Survivor Series, NXT members Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interfered in the main event.

Will anything unexpected happen at TLC? Here are three possible surprising scenarios for Sunday’s PPV:

Four World Heavyweight Champions in One Night

With Ziggler carrying his Money in the Bank contract, it’s possible that the belt could be passed around multiple times on Sunday. The “show-off” has held onto the briefcase since July, and he has plenty of incentive to “cash-in” at the PPV.

If past PPV’s are any indication, the match between Big Show and Sheamus will occur before the one between Cena and Ziggler. Since Ziggler might lose his contract in the ladder match, it would make sense that he’d use it on whoever wins the Heavyweight title fight. If Sheamus is the winner, it could set off a pattern of events that the WWE has never seen.

Since Big Show will start the night with the belt, Ziggler would become the third man to hold the title in a manner of minutes, if he “cashes-in” on a victorious Sheamus. With the contract no longer available to be won, Ziggler and Cena would have nothing to grab in their ladder match.

There’s a good chance either Vickie Guerrero or Vince McMahon would put the title on the line in the match between Cena and Ziggler. Cena is the face of the WWE, and hasn’t been a champion for over a year. Don’t be shocked if he wins and becomes the fourth World Heavyweight Champion of the night.

AJ Turns On Cena

The seeds for AJ’s turn on Cena were planted on this past week’s “Raw.” After the Diva and wrestler exchanged kisses on television for a few weeks, Cena was visibly annoyed with AJ this past Monday. She went into the men’s locker room and asked to be ringside during the superstar’s match against Big Show, demonstrating her “crazy” tendencies that she exhibited during the summer.

Prior to Cena, AJ had already been linked Daniel Bryan, Kane and CM Punk. It wouldn’t be surprising to see her join up with yet another wrestler. Ziggler is starting to break away from Vickie Guerrero, and having AJ in his corner would fit his tagline of “stealing the show...and your girlfriend.”

Neither wrestler can be disqualified in a ladder match, giving AJ the perfect opportunity to interfere in the match. Don’t be shocked to see Ziggler walk away from the PPV with both his briefcase and AJ.

Mark Henry Returns

In 2011, Henry became one of the best heels the WWE had seen in years. He beat Randy Orton to win the World Heavyweight Championship at last year’s Night of Champions. He held the title for 91 days, until he lost to Daniel Bryan,

Henry announced that he would undergo shoulder surgery in May, and he hasn’t wrestled since. There have been rumors that the injury could end the world strongest man’s career, and it’s unknown when, or if, he will return. However, there have been recent signs that could be pointing to his comeback at TLC.

Henry sent out a tweet on Dec. 10, which might indicate that he is ready to return to the ring soon.

“What up? Yeah it's me still alive, I'm pushing to come back but that don't mean it will happen. Shield is pissing me off. Ass kicking is my job,” tweeted Henry. He was scheduled to sign autographs at the Barclays Center on Friday, during the Brooklyn Nets game, so he’ll likely be in the building for the PPV.

The WWE could go in several different directions for Henry’s return. His tweet indicates that he might attack The Shield during their match with Ryback and Team Hell No. He could also make an appearance, only later to be revealed as the leader of the NXT members.

Whatever plans the WWE may have for Henry, look for the 400-plus pound man to play a role at TLC.
