X-Files Episode 5 Synopsis
Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) will try to help two FBI agents get answers from a comatose suicide bomber about the location of a terrorist cell in Texas in episode 5 of "The X-Files" miniseries. Fox

After dealing with strange monsters in the past two episodes of "The X-Files," Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) will take on a real world evil in episode 5 of the miniseries, titled "Babylon." Mulder and Scully will look to help the FBI take down a terrorist cell before they kill hundreds of innocent people.

According to the synopsis, Mulder and Scully get called in to investigate the bombing of an art gallery where offensive artwork was displayed. One of the bombers survives the explosion, but is in a coma. It will be up to them to figure out a way to communicate with the man before the terrorist cell commits another attack.

This new case will remind Scully of her mother, who passed away just an episode earlier. Scully's mother was comatose before she died and now Scully will take that experience and apply it towards helping the FBI get answers out of a comatose patient.

Scully and Mulder won't be alone in their quest for answers out of the comatose patient. The promo video for episode 5 reveals that two new FBI agents will be introduced, Agent Miller (Robbie Amell) and Agent Einstein (Lauren Ambrose). Agent Miller and Agent Einstein are basically a younger version of Scully and Mulder, as Miller wants to believe in the paranormal while Einstein is a doctor that's a skeptic.

Opposites will attract in the episode as Scully will team up with Miller to try and use scientific methods to find a way to talk to the comatose terrorist. Mulder and Einstein will be the other pairing, where Mulder will try to get Einstein to be more open to ideas that lean towards the paranormal.
