LG’s new X-Men: Apocalypse themed “X” lineup consists of six variants namely LG X Cam, LG X Screen, LG X Style, LG X Power, LG X Mach and LG X Max. Out of the six, “LG X Style” was introduced last week.

Even though LG did not specify the release date or price of the LG X Style, a promotional video showcasing this device has been released by the South Korean tech giant today.

Going by the video, LG has focused on the thickness of the handset instead of flaunting the key features. This is primarily because the LG X Style doesn’t come with top-of-the-shelf specifications.

The Style is an ultra-thin handset with 6.9-mm thickness. This stylishly sleek handset apparently comes in three colors namely white, black and gold.

Moving on to key specifications, the mid-range LG X Style features a 5.0-inch display, complemented by 720 x 1,280 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, this device comes powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 410) processor and backed by 1.5GB of RAM.

On the software front, Android 6.0 Marshmallow runs the smartphone out of the box. When it comes to internal memory, LG has equipped this handset with 16GB of built-in storage space and a microSD card slot to facilitate expansion.

LG is not particularly known for housing bigger battery units. Here again, a modest 2,100-mAh battery cell helps keep the lights on.

In the home-country South Korea and some other parts of the world, the LG X Style will apparently be called as LG X Skin. Phone Arena says the moniker “Skin” might refer to being skinny as this device is ultra-thin. As of today, LG has not announced the markets where this budget-friendly device will be made available.
